Terms of Service

The service

njX Order Alerts for Telegram (“the app”) is provided by njX (“we”). It delivers notifications about events in your Shopify store to Telegram chats that you connect. By installing the app you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

Your account and your data

• You must have the right to install apps on the store and to share its order information with the Telegram chats you connect. Everyone in a connected group sees the alerts.
• You remain the controller of your customers’ data. We act as your processor: we process order data only to deliver the notifications you configured, only for as long as needed to deliver them, and we do not store customer names, emails, addresses or notes.
• We process data on your behalf on Cloudflare (hosting) and deliver messages through Telegram (Telegram Messenger Inc.), each under its own terms. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for any other purpose.
• We help you meet your obligations: customer data requests and erasure requests from Shopify are handled automatically, and uninstalling the app deletes everything we hold about your store within 48 hours.
• We keep the app secure as described in the privacy policy and notify you within 72 hours of confirming a security incident that affects your data.

Plans and billing

Plans are billed by Shopify under the Shopify App Store terms and appear on your Shopify invoice. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel from the Shopify admin at any time; the Free plan has no time limit.

Acceptable use

Do not use the app to send unsolicited messages, to circumvent Telegram’s or Shopify’s terms, or to process data you are not entitled to process. We may suspend an installation that abuses the service or the Telegram API.

Availability and liability

The app is provided as is. We aim for continuous delivery but depend on Shopify, Cloudflare and Telegram; a delayed or missed notification does not create liability beyond the fees you paid us for the current billing period.
